Description
A moisture analyzer, also known as a moisture balance, is a laboratory instrument that combines a precision weighing balance with a heating unit to accurately and rapidly determine the moisture content of a sample. It works on the thermogravimetric principle, or “loss on drying” (LOD), which involves weighing a sample, heating it to evaporate the moisture, and then weighing it again to measure the weight difference.
